About
The Club is located at Port Douglass, New York, on Lake Champlain directly across the Lake from Burlington, VT. It is 15 miles south of Plattsburg,
six miles from Keeseville and seven miles from the famous Ausable Chasm.
The Club owns 180 acres, which extend for over a mile along the shore and are heavily wooded with pine, hemlock and cedar. The larger portion of shorefront is composed of flat rocks running from the water's edge to the woods. It is the unanimous opinion of our members that we have the most beautiful section of shorefront on the Lake. It combines woods, sand beaches, rocks, magnificent views and perfect seclusion.
We have two sand beaches where the water shoals very gradually, making an ideal bathing place for children. One of these beaches is situated at the bottom of a small crescent bay and is the most beautiful spot on the property. It is centrally located and within a short walk of all the camps.
